Software Engineering Manager

I'm a software engineering manager at Community Archives.

My goal is to create an environment where people feel good to work in. It is one of my principles that feeling good about your work — and your work environment — is the base for creating a high-performing team.

Building or changing team culture takes time; there are a lot of things to iron out. I lean on the work of Cal Newport and Scrum methodology to create high-performing teams whose members enjoy the work itself.

Work

Software Engineering Manager

Leading a team of software developers delivering solutions for Community Archives. Oversee the full development lifecycle — planning, requirements, build, test, deploy — and partner closely with product and design. Equally focused on people: mentoring, coaching, and protecting a collaborative environment where everyone can do their best work.

Software Backend Engineer

HOAM Ventures

Designed and maintained scalable microservices in Java and Node.js (TypeScript) at TownSq. Worked across MongoDB, AWS, and third-party integrations — owning data integrity, auth, and deployment of cloud-native services in tight collaboration with frontend, product, and stakeholders.

Software Backend Engineer

Infrastructure Analyst, Intern

Helped maintain and modernize the infrastructure architecture, managing a VMware cluster that provisioned virtual machines for development teams.

Education

Bachelor's in Computer Science

The program provides comprehensive training in Computer Science as it equips its students to work as system developers, researchers, software designers, technology consultants, managers in technology companies and future entrepreneurs. The program includes not only the fundamentals of Information Technology but also its major areas of operation, practical applications and technological trends that are constantly revisited.
